The style "Frieze" is a luxurious cut pile
nylon carpet which are available
in face weights of 35 to 73 ounces.
Basically what you're paying for when purchasing
carpeting is how many ounces
of yarn are in the carpet per square yard. As
a rule of thumb, a minimum face weight of 40 ounces per square yard of
good quality carpet is recommended for high traffic areas such as
halls, stairs, family rooms, etc.
